Sencorp is recognized worldwide for designing and manufacturing plastics processing machinery, packaging systems and automation solutions.

Sencorp History

  • 1946 - Packaging Industries starts in Montclair, NJ manufacturing Sentinel brand sealers
  • 1960 - Packaging Industries introduces new blister sealer and thermoformer product lines
  • 1964 - Packaging Industries relocates to Cape Cod
  • 1980 - Packaging Industries introduces foam extrusion product line
  • 1989 - Packaging Industries divests machinery division naming the company Sencorp Systems
  • 1994 - DT Industries created and Sencorp Systems acquired
  • 1995 - Sencorp Systems receives US patent for "Blister packaging system and method"
  • 1995 - Sencorp Systems receives US patent for "Apparatus for non-mechanical die lip temperature adjustment in an extruder"
  • 1996 - Armac Industries acquired by DT Industries
  • 1996 - Sencorp Systems receives US patent for "Blister packaging card for use in making plastic blister packages"
  • 1998 - Sencorp Systems receives US patent for "Method of thermoforming plastic articles"
  • 1998 - Sencorp Systems receives US patent for "Method of adjusting choke gap of plastic extruder apparatus"
  • 1999 - DT Sencorp adds 55,000sq ft to their existing facility
  • 1999 - DT Sencorp and DT Armac merge
  • 2001 - DT Sencorp divests extrusion product line
  • 2002 - DT Sencorp and DT Stokes merge, becoming DT Converting Technologies
  • 2002 - CeraTek and CeraPak sealing machinery brands launched
  • 2002 - DT Converting Technologies introduces revolutionary GenII Thermoformer
  • 2003 - DT Converting Technologies introduces new CeraTek P-Series sealers
  • 2004 - DT Converting Technologies acquired by management group and renamed Sencorp Inc.
  • 2004 - Sencorp Inc. introduces new automated UV sealing machinery for PET materials
  • 2004 - Sencorp Inc. launches Special Machine Group
  • 2005 - Sencorp Inc. introduces new 2500G2 Deep Draw Thermoformer
  • 2005 - Sencorp Inc. introduces new HPFlex Sealer
  • 2005 - Sencorp Inc. receives the US trademark for the CeraTek brand name
  • 2006 - Sencorp enters into business partnership with Asano Laboratories based in Japan
  • 2007 - Sencorp is designated exclusive manufacturer of Enviroshell sustainable packaging equipment
