Sencorp has developed a predictive maintenance program that enables the technician to methodically inspect critical assemblies for wear and proper maintenance. This inspection process will review areas of the machine that have a direct impact on the machines efficiency, giving us the ability to predict a component failure by measuring elements that impact the components operation i.e. heat, deflection, amperage, leakage just to name a few. With this predictability, you will have the opportunity to plan for repairs minimizing or eliminating downtime during crucial production periods. Another added benefit to our Sencorp/Reliability program is that your replacement part(s) can be ordered without costly expedite fees and/or express delivery charges due to the ability to schedule repairs prior to the failure point.
Utilizing a software program developed by our own service technicians, the machine inspector will measure and compare specifications on assemblies with known factory specifications. If the actual specifications fall within the normal wear limits, the assembly will pass the inspection. Should the actual specifications exceed the factory limit; the assembly will not pass the inspection generating a comment section outlining the reason(s) for failure. Based upon the number of pass/fails the inspector generates, a score is produced indicating the overall condition of the machine. A copy of the inspection report will be produced for your records along with a list of recommended replacement parts. The inspection process will require the machine to be out of production for a period of one day. Removal of the tool package on both the form and trim presses prior to the technician's arrival will shorten the inspection time.
